A Nice, Round Number

At 7:12 PM EST today, I hit 50 subs! Thank you to xxhottcouturexx for subscribing and for all the comments!
I know no one reads this, but keep an eye out for a celebratory video!
See you on the tubes

I decided that this post didn't feel done yet, so I'm going to write a bit more. I only know a couple of my subscribers, so I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of the people reading this don't know a whole lot about me.
I'm living in Manhattan right now. I came up here the 10th of March. I've been living in a too-expensive apartment in Gramercy for the last three weeks as a temporary solution until I could find a more permanent solution (if you can call "two months" permanent), which I will be moving into tomorrow. I'll still be in Gramercy, which is nice because I really like this area of town.
Why am I in Manhattan, you ask? I worked at a Classical Off-B'way theatre in the East Village last semester when I was in school at Marymount Manhattan (I'm taking a "semester off" of sorts), and they still want me to work, so here I am. That job starts a week from Tuesday. The past few weeks have been pretty inactive for me, so if you've been wondering why I've been posting so many videos, that is why: I have nothing else to do.
I think that's enough for today. One last thing, though: has anyone noticed my apparent fondness for the word "chronicle"? It's a nice word, I guess...
'Til next time

Chronicling

Wow, that's a weird-looking word.
I just got my 49th subscriber! That is muy exciting and I have a little something planned for when I hit 50.
I wanted to give you that little tidbit for two reasons: yes, I wanted to share that moment with you, but I also want to kind of document my subscribers. Don't you ever wonder, when you're watching old videos of YouTubers who are now weblebrities, how many subs they had at certain points? Sometimes I wonder, "Did someone ACTUALLY post that in the comments, or did they just make that up because no one watches their videos?" Maybe I'm alone in wondering about things like that, but regardless, I would like you all to know that it is March 31st, and I have 49 subscribers.

The Obsession Chronicles

You know what, I don't think there is anything wrong with making videos every day or more than once a day. Let me clarify: I don't think there's anything wrong with that for me, personally. Sure, subscribers might get annoyed and unsubscribed (I think that's already happened to me a couple times), but sometimes I don't make videos for anyone besides me. It's a creative effort, and I think it should be encouraged. I don't think, "oh, I shouldn't paint something today because I painted something yesterday," or "I shouldn't take a picture..." or "I shouldn't write a song..."
I think the answer to the videos-per-day question really lies in who you're making videos for. If it's for other people whom you would like to please and impress with your wit and good sense of editing, you probably shouldn't make a video every day, and certainly not more than one in a 24 hour period. But if you're just making them for yourself, your own amusement, to chronicle your journey through life or some other adventure, then YouTube is there to support you.
