B.S.
I really can't believe how much YouTube suck levels have risen sometimes.
Okay, so first, I was watching a video, and the ad that was next to it was for FRED. Does that strike anyone else as wrong? Advertising ANOTHER YouTuber on a DIFFERENT YouTuber's own video??
And then, just now, I actually got a TALKING AD. WTF?? You cannot have talking ads on a website whose primary function is VIDEOS!!
BLAGH!!!

Cookies vs. Dough
I've been pretty down with cookie dough lately. Sometimes I make it into cookies, but most of the time, I leave it as is. I can't decide which I like better. Thoughts?

I want to go eat breakfast, but...
I thought I'd just touch on this for a mo
Does anyone else feel like nerdfighters are being diluted by people who call themselves nerdfighters, but really just don't get it? I think that if the nerdfighters were still entirely made of awesome, there would not be threads on the forums called "Hot Guys" and other such gems...

How do you organize?

The way I organize (my room, at least) is in a very unorganized fashion.
Well, no, I create organized chaos. Even now, my floor is covered in shit, but I can tell what each separate area is: there's the pile of stuff for my scrapbook, the pile of stuff to go to the kitchen, my dresser, my shelves... It just doesn't look that great. I let my room get messy to the point where it's hard to walk, and then I begin. I'm one of those people who makes messes when they're cleaning. Once I'm in the mood, I try to tackle it all: "Oh, I'm cleaning my room? Might as well organize my closet. And- Ooh! My desk, too! And maybe get rid of stuff in the bathroom!" I'm also a fan of going through my piles and throwing things in general directions like, "Oh, this has to go downstairs", so I toss it somewhere near my door, but then the object never ACTUALLY gets to where its destination. I don't know what that says about me besides the obvious: I am bad at keeping my room clean, and organizing it when it gets messy.

Do bee do wop
It would seem I scat when I can't think of a real title
I went to a graduation party today with a lot of people I knew from high school, who are still in high school. It made me wish I was still in that world, that I could still know everything that's going on, and be close with people again. But I know that I can't force myself to regress. It's not as if I'm actively choosing not to be friends with them, but I don't think it will work out how I want it to.
It's also strange, seeing the new connections. The sister of one of my friends from my class was at the party tonight, but not my friend. THAT was weird- seeing these new bonds be formed...
The times they are a changin'.

I Like Learning
My love for learning is something I fear I don't have in common with a great many people. This is a list of books and of things I want to learn about this summer (or whenever):
Bold = Have Read
Italic = Current read/s
The Hobbit
Dog Sees God
The Art of Voice Acting
Fellowship of the Ring
Two Towers
Return of the King
Secrets of Mental Math
The Scrabble Book
Brave New World
Moby Dick
War & Peace (hey, I'm being optimistic here)
A Little Princess
The Jungle Book
Pride & Prejudice
The Vegan Sourcebook
Lies My Teacher Told Me
the Atlas
A book about weather
Audition (Michael Shurcliff)
Speaking Shakespeare (Patty Rodenburg)
Born Standing Up
The Georgia Nicholson series (i.e. Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal Snogging) (I've read this series dozens of times, but I love them- they're hilarious)
That's Not All, Folks
Breaking Dawn
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
The Complete Shirlock Homes
James Bond books (I started reading From Russia, With Love out of curiosity, and it was pretty good, but I never finished it)
Poetry
Walt Whitman
Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain
Amphigory
Perks of Being a Wallflower
Geek Love
Sense & Sensibility
1984
The Burn Journals
Go Ask Alice
Sybill
You Can Get Arrested for That
Enchanted
Golden Compass series
The Essential Dalai Lama
Norwegian Wood
Breakfast of Champions
Cat's Cradle
Lovely Bones
Running With Scissors
The Time Traveler's Wife
The Mixed Up Files of Ms. Basil E. Frankwiler
David Sedaris
My dad's memoir
This list will continue. Check back if you want inspiration for what to read, or let me know if you're reading any of the same, or have thoughts, suggestions...
Also, in the response video I did to Todd, I talked about what was in my Amazon shopping cart. Well, one of my subscribers suggested that I make a wish list. So, if you didn't hear enough about what's in my cart, you can check out my wishlist.
Hope everyone's enjoying the summer weather. I know I am. I took a good bike ride today. Maybe a vid later.
In hindsight, I see that the "learning" theme of this post didn't really work out and I just talked about books and things I want to buy... oh well. All I really wanted to say on that topic is that I like learning.

Bleh
I was awoken at 9 AM by my mom and her new husband, who are leaving on their honeymoon, so that I can let in the plumber to install a new toilet in my bathroom. The bathroom looks very strange without a toilet. You walk in, and in the little toilet nook, there's nothing but tile and this weird plug thing in the floor.
I guess 9 isn't that early, but damn, am I tired.
Actually, I took this video clip earlier today. I hope you enjoy it, O Chosen Few Who Readst Yon Blog

Another One Bites The Dust
The phone thwarts my luck for another month.
Did anyone else remember?
Also, I wanted to tell all of you about these handy little ditties called "feed readers". I hadn't heard of them until a few months ago. They're software programs that you can "subscribe" to RSS feeds (AKA blogs) on.

On mine (Vienna) a little circle pops up on the dock icon that shows how many unread articles there are. I don't know if all programs work the same, but with mine, you can go to a blog (or whatever else), click the RSS icon, and then the software will automatically subscribe to it.
It's pretty handy because it's hard to remember to check blogs...
So if you don't have a Windows (or want to search around), just google "Feed Reader"
That's all
Woo!
Does anyone else love the crotch shot?
