I Like Learning

My love for learning is something I fear I don't have in common with a great many people. This is a list of books and of things I want to learn about this summer (or whenever):

Bold = Have Read
Italic = Current read/s

The Hobbit
Dog Sees God
The Art of Voice Acting
Fellowship of the Ring
Two Towers
Return of the King
Secrets of Mental Math
The Scrabble Book
Brave New World
Moby Dick
War & Peace (hey, I'm being optimistic here)
A Little Princess
The Jungle Book
Pride & Prejudice
The Vegan Sourcebook
Lies My Teacher Told Me
the Atlas
A book about weather
Audition (Michael Shurcliff)
Speaking Shakespeare (Patty Rodenburg)
Born Standing Up
The Georgia Nicholson series (i.e. Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal Snogging) (I've read this series dozens of times, but I love them- they're hilarious)
That's Not All, Folks
Breaking Dawn
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
The Complete Shirlock Homes
James Bond books (I started reading From Russia, With Love out of curiosity, and it was pretty good, but I never finished it)
Poetry
Walt Whitman
Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain
Amphigory
Perks of Being a Wallflower
Geek Love
Sense & Sensibility
1984
The Burn Journals
Go Ask Alice
Sybill
You Can Get Arrested for That
Enchanted
Golden Compass series
The Essential Dalai Lama
Norwegian Wood
Breakfast of Champions
Cat's Cradle
Lovely Bones
Running With Scissors
The Time Traveler's Wife
The Mixed Up Files of Ms. Basil E. Frankwiler
David Sedaris
My dad's memoir

This list will continue. Check back if you want inspiration for what to read, or let me know if you're reading any of the same, or have thoughts, suggestions...

Also, in the response video I did to Todd, I talked about what was in my Amazon shopping cart. Well, one of my subscribers suggested that I make a wish list. So, if you didn't hear enough about what's in my cart, you can check out my wishlist.
Hope everyone's enjoying the summer weather. I know I am. I took a good bike ride today. Maybe a vid later.

In hindsight, I see that the "learning" theme of this post didn't really work out and I just talked about books and things I want to buy... oh well. All I really wanted to say on that topic is that I like learning.
