New Entry

I just woke up about half an hour ago. I miss the days of getting up at 9. I know, 9:30 isn't that different...
I read about this study done on people: they were made to live in a place with no natural light, and that was it- they all got into their groove, and went to sleep and got up at the same times. Turns out, they adopted a 25-hour sleep schedule! Trippy, right? I'm not sure what that means...
No one is really in town. I'm already pretty into alone time, but now that barely anyone is here, and I can't keep hanging out with the same two people every single day, I've been spending a lot of time alone. And with my mom. But not New York alone. This is actually kind of nice. Kind of...
Oh! I'm going to FLORIDA!!!!!! I was sad because this would have been the first summer that I didn't go ANYWHERE. I want a beach SO BAD. But I get to go!!!!!! EEEK!!!! I'm going with my friend, albeit, to her family reunion, but I think it'll be fun.
Hmm... Oh, I'm going to be in a play! It's a collection of 3 one-acts. I am super-super-super excited. My sister used to smoke cigarettes and talk to me about the addiction and trying to quit, and she talked about how hard it is to explain the addiction, but I think it's akin to the way I feel about acting. I mean, I'm not going to be like, "Yeah, I'm up to a pack of plays a day", but... I just CRAVE it. I haven't really acted since Troilus and Cressida LAST MAY. Sure, I worked on monologues for my auditions, but I hardly think that counts.
And I'm EXTRA excited because there are some Mel Blanc opportunities. Heh heh heh.
