John's Survey

I was amused by John's survey on his blog because my friends and I have been obsessively doing surveys lately. I would say it's getting out of hand. But it's not.

1. What's your name?
Morgan (why is there this obligatory "who are you?" question when, generally, I think the majority of people who will read this already know a good deal about me. P.S. Is there such thing as knowing a "bad deal" about someone?)

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?
I've come back to my roots of only wearing things that I can do the splitz in (like I can do the splitz-- HA). And also, my circle scarf. The days I've worn it far outnumber the days I haven't.

3. Last thing you ate?
Haven't had breakfast yet, so some really disgusting banana chips last night. I think they were potatoes in disguise.

4. One place you will NEVER eat at?
A Chinese place. They make me throw up. Literally. Once, I just ate one small thing, like a wonton or even a doughnut and still threw up. But this is American Chinese we're talking about.

6. Last person you hugged?
My mom after we both remembered that today is RABBIT RABBIT DAY!! Rabbit Rabbit Day is the first day of every month, and the rule is: the first thing you say when you wake up is "rabbit rabbit" and you'll have good luck for the rest of the month.

7. Does anyone you know wanna date you?
I hope so?

8. Would you date anyone you met online?
I don't think I could handle the "I've never met you and we live on opposite coasts" dating scenario. But if we lived close(r), then sure.

My eyes.

I think it was the Chicago Diner. YES

11. Who is your best friend?
I can't say I have just one right now. I think that's a good place to be.

Nothing as of yet because I woke up probably 30 minutes ago and all I've done is checked the blogs I read.

I like Baseball inherently because of family tradition. But I've watched football on TV a few times, and I actually really liked it.

Yep.

16. Favorite type of Food?
Thai or Ethiopian.

TLAP? Or the Holiday Season in general.

18. Do you download music:

19. Do you care if your socks are dirty?
It depends on how cool the socks are. I'm just going to go ahead and say no, but also say that I do not wear dirty socks very often.

20. Opinion of Chinese symbol tattoos?
As long as the tattooee (that's a lot of doubles) knows what it means!!

21. Would you date the person who posted this?
I try to stay out of marriages.

22. Has anyone ever sang or played for you personally?
Yeah.

23. Do you love anyone?
Sure!

24. Are colored contact lenses sexy?
They can be visually appealing, but when I find out they're fake, I feel duped. I prefer real eye color.

25. Have you ever bungee jumped?
No. Not against it, though.

26. Have you ever gone white-water rafting?
Hells yeah. Many times.

27. Has anyone ten years older than you ever hit on you
Ohhhoooooooo YES. MANY MORE YEARS THAN TEN were between us. And MANY MORE TIMES THAN ONE. It is extremely rare for me to be hit on by anyone in a ten year age range of me. YouTube is no different.

29. Have you met a real redneck?
I hate to put forward stereotypes, but I do live in Kentucky...
And John, if you're reading this, I shall say naught about the rest of KY's water, but Louisville has the best tap water in the country. It's official. I'm not kidding.

30. How is the weather right now?
Looks pretty gloomy.

Heat coming out of the vents in my room.

Hot N Cold by Katy Perry

33. What was the last movie you watched?
Twilight, which was SO MUCH BETTER than the book.

Yep. They're not colored.

Cold Stone (yeah, I ate dairy. I know)

Breast cancer. It's heavy on both sides of my family.

None.

39. What's one thing you've learned this year?
Other people know me better than I know me.

40. What do you usually order from Starbucks?
Nothing. I dislike Starbucks.

41. What Magazines are you reading?
I've been trying to decide what to subscribe to. I liked Newsweek and the New Yorker and National Geographic.

A video response I just got to 'Nana Bread, which is in French. I wrote her a very simple comment in French. I hope that doesn't seem pretentious.

Oh yes. I think I'm always going to be missing someone.

Family Guy, I guess.

45. Do you have an obsession with WoW?
I'm not entirely sure what that is, actually. I know what it stands for, but that's the extent of my knowledge. Lately, I've been playing a lot of Tap Tap Revenge on my iPod, and if any of you play that, we should be FRIENDS!!!

46. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celeb?
Not in a while.

47. What celeb do you look like?
Apparently, Uma Thurman. But I think that's a stretch.

48. Who would you like to see right now?
My dad.
Though Shakespeare is a close second.

I always say Mrs. Doubtfire because I don't like favorites. V for Vendetta? I'll get back to you. Oh wait, Center Stage.

Yes! Love abounds!

Yes. Hasn't everyone?

52. Favorite smell?
"Memory whiffs" - those scents that are pretty imperceptible, but after smelling, you find yourself thinking about a time or place of person. My favorite brand is New York, second is Danmark.

Greek spice!

54. What's something that really bugs you?
When people aren't on the same maturity level as me.

55. Do you like Michael Jackson?
Yes. I try to stay out of his personal life, but that man can dance! And I like his music.

Wow, neither. I guess Burger King because of the veggie burger?

I have this pomegranite oil that smells so good. But I really like how I smell on my own, thanks.

Red Sox.

62. Where is the weirdest place you have slept?
I don't know if this is the weirdest, but it piggy-backs on #60. Paris train station. I stayed up for two nights, one in Germany, and one in Paris (except for an hour or two) because of some complications with plans. I wasn't alone.

Probably Gabby.

64. Last time you were at work?
In May.
